Schonfelder to make Zagreb ski return

Austrian skier Rainer Schonfelder announced Monday he will return from a knee injury during the midweek World Cup slalom race here.

Schoenfelder, a double bronze medallist from the 2006 Turin Olympics, injured his knee a month ago, but wants to assure his qualification for the Vancouver Games from February 12-28.

"I still have a chance," said the 32-year-old.

The world's top alpine skiing nation, Austria will send four skiiers in each discipline to Vancouver.
