Austrian Michael Walchhofer continued his dominance at Birds of Prey on Friday, posting the fastest time in the third and final World Cup downhill training session.
Walchhofer, who was fastest on Thursday, clocked 1min 45.04sec.
Canadian Robbie Dixon was second quickest and France's Yannick Bertrand third.
France's Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin was injured in the training run and transported by ambulance to nearby Vail to be examined by doctors.
"He's in a bit of pain everywhere - shoulder, wrist, elbow, knee," said French team spokesman Patrice Morisod.
"We're waiting for the tests but it's not good, especially as he's already had some injuries in his career."
Croatia's Ivica Kostelic, who didn't take part in the training run because of a nagging back problem, won't race in Saturday's downhill.
Only 31 racers took part in Friday's training, which was to be followed later in the day by a super-combined race.
